I work at the Transportation Children’s Center (https://www.facebook.com/TransportationChildrensCenter/)

It is located in downtown Boston on the third floor of a large office building. Luckily, there is a third floor roof deck playground. For the past three years after being spearheaded by the board of directors, directory, teachers, and parents, there has been an effort to bring more nature to the school by creating a garden in the playground in the middle of the city. The playground brings greenery and nature to the children. In addition, children will sometimes eat snack based on what is grown in the playground, children help care for the garden, and children do various science and arts and crafts projects based on what they see in the garden. You can see pictures of the garden below.
