Congress Approves $500 Million for Child Care in Disaster Relief Package

$250 million for the renovation and repair of child care facilities damaged by natural disasters. This allocation aims to ensure the safe and continued operation of these vital community resources.

$250 million in emergency supplemental funding to enhance access to high-quality child care for working families nationwide. This support will be distributed through the established Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) program.
