The Whitney Hill Park Woods in Watertown MA Is A Great Spot For Toddlers/Preschoolers to Hike

COVID-19 has got many of us stuck at home. This is especially hard for toddlers and preschoolers who have boundless energy and are probably starting at screens for too long. Getting young children fresh and air and outside in spaces where they can burn off energy and use their developing gross motor skills is imperative for their development.  The Whitney Hill Park Woods in Watertown MA is a great spot to allow children to do just that. The 11 acres park/woods is big enough for young children to explore for a while with plenty of hidden locations to explore with a few steep hills to challenge them. On the other side, the park is small enough, clean enough, where parents can feel comfortable allowing children to walk/hike independently while being supervised. In addition, it is easy to get to with parking at the nearby Victory field which also includes a playground for children as well. Check out dozens of photos of the park below.
