Perkins School For The Blind Announces Free Early Connections Virtual Conference

Perkins School For The Blind in Watertown MA had to cancel their annual early connections conference which is held on their campus due to COVID-19. However, recently they announced a virtual version of the conference.

On the events web-page they write “Join us June 22-26, 2020 for a week-long free virtual conference, designed for families of children age 0 to 7 who have been diagnosed with a visual impairment. You’ll learn early intervention strategies, using technology at home, effective advocacy for your child’s IEP educational plan, orientation and mobility tips and hear the latest on Cortical / Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI) from experts across Perkins School for the Blind.”
