Weird Early Childhood History: "The Baby Cage: A Penthouse for a Baby?"

There have been a lot of weird trends in history about the best way to raise young children. Few were weirder than the “baby cage” which was a cage that hung outside an apartment window that was sold as a way for city dwellers living in apartments to get their baby fresh air. While some might judge this idea, we have to remember there are a lot of things currently happening when it comes to raising young children that could also be looked at as less than wise and the current horrors that children placed in cages have experienced the past few years.
