Jamaal Bowman Calls on his Male Colleagues to be more vocal on Early Childhood Education

Jamaal Bowman is an American politician and educator and now is the Democratic Representative-elect for New York's 16th congressional district after winning in this past election.

Prior to being elected, Bowman was on “New York State Early Childhood Blue Ribbon Committee, where he championed early childhood learning standards.”

When he first announced his candidacy for Congress in 2019 he stated “we need a more progressive pedagogy overall — Montessori, Reggio Emilia-based education in early childhood sections, and project-based learning in grades 6 through 12

Recently, he called on his male colleagues to be more vocal about early childhood education on Twitter.
